Let’s share some cool digital resources! Whether a new literacy resource, a differentiated resource, a resource for inclusive classrooms, or one focused specifically on struggling readers, let’s share a resource and talk about it in this blog.Digital_Technology

  1. First, tell us why you chose the resource.
  2. Next, provide us with a link to the resource and a brief description of it.
  3. Explain how the resource works effectively, or has the potential to work effectively, with a variety of students and learning styles.

The site I chose is i-ready because it has helped many of my students start to fill in gaps. i-ready.com is the site This website/program is great for finding out where the students are indepent and struggling with. It has diagnostic assessments that you can set up to reassess as needed. It has resources that you can pull to help with the assignments that students are struggling with.It starts the students on the level that they assess at and then as they improve/struggle adjusts to allow them to have some success. After earning so many points it allows them to play games with the points they have earned. My students love it and most are improving weekly.

Spelling City is a big one in our District. Teachers use it as a tool to teach and check for knowledge. It has a paid and a free version. The paid version allows you to track the students. http://www.spellingcity.com/ While it states it is a Spelling Site- there is much more. The Vocabulary allows for students to differentiate and learn in their own style.
